For these photos, I used a clear plastic filter colored with markers. I think that the color is just noticeable to affect the photo's tone, but still subtle enough to not interfere with the subject. The only obstacle I encountered while using these filters was that, before I adjusted the aperture, the hole cut into the center of the filter was clearly visible and got in the way of the photo. However, adjusting the aperture remedied this. In the future, I might also like to try the cling wrap filter that adds a haze to the edges of photos.
